Abstract

Mahayana Buddhism is one of the Buddhist sects as the Acariyavada which is spreading in the northern regions of India, Nepal, China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Mongolia and some parts of Russia. The highlight of this sect of Buddhism is the idea of practice to be the Bodhisattva who accumulates charisma, therefore, in order for helping all beings in the world to eliminate suffering. For practicing the disciples in this sect, the people who believe in Mahayana only adhere to the disciplines as guidance to support their Dharma practices in terms of helping others and being good citizens.
