Perceptions English Vocabs towards Sustainable Development Goals of Phan Nga Community College Students

Abstract

This Article aimed to survey the perception of English vocabs towards the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of Phang Nga Community College students. The population consisted of 44 students in the Associate Degree Program in Community Public Health and Local Administration in 1/2023 and obtained by purposive sampling. The research instrument was survey questionnaires. The statistics used in data analysis are Percentage and Mean. The results found that the perception of English vocabs towards the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. There is an average between (0.00-4.89) for each goal. The highest mean of perception of English vocabs towards the Sustainable Development Goals was No Poverty (4.89), Zero Hunger (4.55), and the lowest mean (0.00) was Affordable and Clean Energy, Decent. Work and Economic Growth, Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, Reduced Inequalities and Place, Justice and Strong Institutions.? for each goal had an average between (0.00-4.89), with the highest average of being aware of English vocabulary related to the development goals. Sustainable consists of No Poverty (4.89), followed by Zero Hunger (4.55) and the lowest average (0.00) is Affordable and Clean Energy, Decent Work and Economic Growth, Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, Reduced Inequalities and Place, Justice and Strong Institutions

From the results of the survey, the perception of English vocabs towards the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of Phang Nga Community College students was overall at a low level. Mean of perception was to be 1.62. Students have little perception of English vocabs. Except for some goals, the Mean of perception was at the highest and high level, consisting of Goal 01, 02, 14, and 15.
